New multi-currency functionality has been added with the Version 9 update, now users will be able to switch between multiple currencies with ease. 



Manage Available Currencies

  1. Go to Finance > Currency (in the Invoice Settings section). 
  2. In the Configured Currencies section use the drop-down menu to make a new “Working In” currency available to use in your system.

  3. This will add an additional currency option in the Exchange Rates section, where you can specify any exchange rates and mark ups that you use for your working in currencies.




Multi-Currency Charge Rates

Once a new currency has been added to the user’s system, charge rates for those currencies can be setup.  

  1. Go to System > Charge Rates (in the User Setting section).
  2. Configure the options in the “Update standard charge rates” section.




Client Specific Rates

Charge rates for specific clients in specific currencies can also be configured.

  1. Go to System > Charge Rates (in the User Setting section)
  2. Set the options in the “Add charge rates per client” section. 


 

Client specific rates once configured can be viewed and edited in the Charge Rates section of this page.



Working In Currency

Currency can now be specified on a case by case basis. Once a ‘Working In Currency’ has been setup in the system the option to change currency will appear on the charges tab of a case. When the working in currency is changed new charges and chargesheet items added to the case will be in the chosen working currency.

 

With the new charges on a case, both the selected working currency and the user’s default currency will be displayed. 



Finance Reports

Finance reports will also include a separated summary of the total currencies within the system.
