This article outlines the options available when using pre-set task components.
The table below describes each component option, with a scenario where they could be used in practice.

Add Charge Sheet Items | Automatically add a charge to a case when a task is marked as 'Done'. | Mark a Filing deadline as 'Done' and add the filing fee to the case automatically. Mark a Renewal deadline as 'Done' and add the Renewal fee to the case automatically. |
Add Overdue Task Notification | Adds a user notification in the top right of Equinox when a task becomes overdue. | When a task to ‘Report filing deadline to client’ becomes overdue, notify the formalities user of the case. |
| Attach Documents Based On Folder | Choose from a list of folders. Any document matching the specified folder will be automatically linked to the task being generated on the case. | Automatically link documents on the case to an outgoing correspondence task, adding them as an attachments to a reporting email. |
Case Capture Data | When a task is marked as 'Done', prompt a user to enter case dates or information. | Mark task to ‘Check for publication’ as 'Done' when the publication date has been received. Prompt the user to add the publication date to the case. Note: When a date is entered via Case Data Capture, pre-sets that run from this date are not triggered. |
Copy Parent/Child Data | Copy case information from the parent case to the child case or vice versa. | Copy data from an international trade mark or patent to the national cases. |
Generate Task Reminders | Create reminders for a task when the pre-set is added to a case. This avoids having to create the reminders separately within the pre-set as they are created automatically from one component. Note: You can't run further components on tasks that are generated from a component. | Add a Renewal deadline pre-set to a case and automatically generate 3 reminders for the Renewal deadline. |
Generate Off-set Task on Task Close | Create a follow-up task when the parent task is marked as 'Done'. Note: You can't run further components on tasks that are generated from a component. | When a filing task is marked as 'Done', generate a task to remind the user to create an invoice for the filing fee. |
Run a Pre-set | Run another pre-set when a task has been marked as 'Done'. | When a Renewal deadline is marked as 'Done', prompt the user to run a pre-set that adds the next Renewal deadline(s). |
