A Blank Letter Template enables users to generate correspondence with the contact’s address details and a sign-off, whilst leaving the main body of the correspondence blank for users to type the main content.


Blank Letter Templates are used for ad-hoc correspondence where users would like to manually type the content of the letter.


Note: Blank Templates can only be used within the Standard Template functionality. It is not possible to set a Blank Template within the Smart Template functionality.


To specify a Standard Template as a Blank Template:

  1. Go to the System Tab > Standard Templates
  2. Find and click on the template you want to set as a Blank Template
  3. Update the ‘Set As’ field and select the type of contact this template should be used for


Note: You can only set one Standard Template to be used as a Blank Template for each type of contact.
