There are two options to change a document file to a PDF file within Equinox.

| Convert to PDF | This changes a .doc/.docx file to a simple PDF file. |
| Convert to PDF (EPO) | This changes a .doc/.docx file to a PDF that is formatted within the guidelines require for online filing. We use the driver supplied by the EPO to convert the file and ensure that the file is formatted correctly. To use this option:
- Go to the Documents tab of a case and click on the document
- Click ‘Convert to PDF’ in the left hand menu
The document file within Equinox will be converted to a PDF straight away.
The file name will update to use the .pdf extension.
The Word file will still be available in the document Versions section.
