Pre-set task lists are pre-configured tasks with pre-defined deadlines that have been saved in your system.

The term ‘Pre-set Task List is shortened to ‘Pre-set’ in some areas of Equinox.

You can configure pre-sets by:

  • Case category
  • Subcategory
  • Country

This lets you set up task deadlines that are relevant to specific types of cases.

Adding a pre-set to a case lets you quickly create multiple tasks with auto-calculated due dates. This means you can see what actions and reminders are related to the case and keep on top of deadlines.

You can manually add pre-sets to a case OR receive automatic prompts to add pre-set tasks when new dates are entered on the Details tab of a case.

E.g., When the Filing Date is entered on a GB Patent case, you may be prompted to run a pre-set called ‘GB Patent – Post Filing Actions’.
